The colorful markets of Chinatown and Little India will give you the chance to grab a bite to eat at a hawker center, a typical street food spot in the city.
Between the two neighborhoods, don’t miss your chance to connect with history by visiting Raffles Landing. It was here that Sir Raffles, the British founder of the city, is said to have landed one day in January 1819.
