What is Filovent's story in a nutshell?

It all began in 1992 with a student passionate about sailing, Philippe Brunet. After founding the Paris X-Nanterre Sailing Club and renting out Hobie Cats on a beach in Brittany during the summer, he decided to launch a sailboat rental business upon graduating. Filovent was born! After the seas and oceans, it was time for freshwater! Building on this success, the company RiverandBoat was founded, specializing in river cruises on license-free boats along the canals and rivers of France and Europe. In 2018, Filovent merged the RiverandBoat and Filovent brands under a single brand: Filovent.

Since 1995, the company has been connecting customers looking to sail with boat rental companies eager to fill their booking schedules. Today, Filovent boasts the largest network of professionals in Europe, with 18,000 boats listed departing from numerous destinations (France, Croatia, Greece, the Caribbean...). In 2022, we facilitated trips for over 20,000 people aboard sailboats, catamarans, motor yachts, and more.

To accelerate its technical and commercial growth, the group raised €750,000 in late 2016 and has largely self-financed its development since then.

Starting in 2022, Filovent is expanding its expertise to include cabin charters in exotic waters and on the Nile, thereby broadening its offerings.
