Boat Hire in Lanzarote

Lanzarote, formerly known as French Lancerotte, is an island of Spain located in the Atlantic Ocean and part of the Canary Islands. Administratively, the island is part of the province of Las Palmas in the autonomous community of the Canary Islands. Populated by 141,938 inhabitants, is the capital Arrecife. The name of the island comes from the Genoese sailor Lancelot Maloisel who visited the island in the fourteenth century, the island is qualified effect of Insula Lanzarotus Marocelus in portulan Angelino Dulcert (1339). According to the philologist Ignacio Reyes, the name could come from the former name in Spanish (and Portuguese) of tabaibas (Euphorbia balsamifera) or Dolatelac (Amazigh name of the island by a papal bull of the year 1431)
