Wendtorf is a municipality in the district of Plön, Schleswig-Holstein.
The town lies east of FOERDE Kiel. The old town is just a few hundred meters inside. The front of the Baltic Sea is divided in two, between the marina and the beach.
To the north of the country, there is the maritime nature reserve Bottsand.
