Cancun is a city in southeastern Mexico, it is located on the Caribbean coast. It is located in the state of Quintana Roo. According to the 2005 census, it has 526,700 inhabitants. Cancun is known for its tourism, particularly as a destination for spring break North American students (spring break).
The Fifth Ministerial Conference of the WTO is held from 10 to 14 September 2003.
The Sixteenth International Conference on Climate Change (under the auspices of the UN) there took place from 29 November to 10 December 20101. Applause were fed as begin discussions before. Representatives of 190 countries signed the Convention on Climate Change adopted the compromise text. After the failure of the Copenhagen conference, where 120 Heads of State had forged an agreement that had been formally adopted by the Assembly.
