Located 36 km from Victoria and a total area of ''26 kms2, it is the second largest island of the archipelago, both for its size and its population (6000 inhabitants). Less hilly than its rival Mahe, it still has less than a certain relief. The shores are beautiful, majestic bays and coves with lovely turquoise water at 27 ° without any vague tumultuous since the reef surrounds Praslin at a respectable distance.
The marina is located in the new port of Baie Sainte Anne.
