In the Indian Ocean, 44 km northeast of Mahé, Praslin is the second largest island in the Seychelles archipelago. Boasting breathtaking natural surroundings, this granite jewel is home to the ecological reserve of the famous Vallée de Mai, known for its endemic species and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983.
The island, sometimes known as the "island of the black parrot", will delight hikers and lovers of lush greenery, but will also enchant those looking for stretches of white sand caressed by turquoise waters.
