Saltsjöbaden is a town in the municipality of Nacka, Stockholm County, in the province of Södermanland, Sweden. Located on the Baltic Sea, in 2005, it had 8,937 inhabitants.
In the chess world, is known for Saltsjöbaden interzonal tournament in 1948 won by the Soviet David Bronstein, and the interzonal tournament in 1952 won by the Soviet Alexander Kotov.
