This small tourist village has a nice atmosphere and you can find many restaurants, bars and souvenir shops. Various trips are offered as the visit of a Greek amphitheater to the west of the city (10 minutes walk from the port) that exposes you a wonderful view of the bay and the Greek island of Kastellorizon.
You can start with one or two long steps to the east (the wind is from the west) downwind then back against the wind in small steps with times of more regular navigation and time to stroll ashore or visit some beautiful archeological sites abound in this area.
The island of Kastellorizo ''is a charming stopover.
