Los Roques is protected from the Atlantic by a reef 15 km long and consists of over 40 islands in a circle around a central lagoon. This particular arrangement involves calm waters and constant breezes all year. Diving in the waters of Los Roques is extremely famous. The flora and fauna are very diverse: you will have the opportunity to see turtles and dolphins a few meters deep.
This is one of the best places to approach life on a boat.
The downside is that you can not navigate without a Venezuelan sailor aboard.
