How long do you recommend spending in the Grenadines?

Updated on: 30/07/2025

For a boat charter in the Grenadines, we recommend a minimum of 10 days!

In fact, most trips to the Grenadines depart from the Port du Marin in Martinique, where we offer 210 different boats. You should therefore plan to stop at the islands of Saint Lucia and Saint Vincent before arriving in the archipelago. We therefore recommend setting aside 2–3 days for the trip down, then allowing just under a week to visit the islands of the archipelago.

However, if you only have a week and cannot adjust your schedule, you can still visit the Grenadines, but we recommend setting out with a professional skipper. This will allow you to sail directly into the archipelago overnight, without necessarily passing through Saint Lucia and Saint Vincent. Be aware, though, that the trip will be a bit more demanding and physically challenging than a 10-day trip!

Another tip: you can also depart from Saint Lucia, where 33 boats are available through our website, or from Grenada, where you’ll have a choice of 64 boats, so you’ll be closer to the Grenadines when you set sail.
