Am I allowed to fish during a river cruise?

- On a canal, night fishing in freshwater is prohibited. It may begin half an hour before sunrise and continue until half an hour after sunset.
- Except for June 1 (the annual fishing promotion day), freshwater anglers must hold a valid fishing license for the area where they are fishing.
You must visit the “fishing license” website: www.cartedepeche.fr/. Then, select the “weekly” license from the list and specify the area where you will be fishing. The site will direct you to purchase a license from an association in the region of your choice.
The license is available year-round.
