How do I cancel? What are the cancellation terms?

If you decide to cancel your rental (due to illness, work-related reasons, divorce, withdrawal of one or more team members from the project, etc.), then you must go to your customer account, under the "My Confirmed Reservations" section, and click on "Cancel My Reservation". Here is an excerpt from our Terms and Conditions specifying the cancellation policy:
  1. In the event of cancellation attributable to the Renter, occurring more than 60 days prior to the departure date:
    1. The reservation deposit, amounting to 40% or 50% of the rental amount including any extras to be paid at the time of booking, will be retained by Filovent or is due if it has not yet been paid. We invite you to review your "reservation confirmation" in your customer account under the "My Confirmed Reservations" section.
    2. The compensation for any crew members (skipper, hostess, cook, etc.) to be paid on-site on the day of boarding will be due if it has not yet been paid, in accordance with the reservation deposit schedule specified in the rental agreement.
  2. In the event of cancellation attributable to the Renter occurring less than 60 days before the departure date: 100% of the rental amount, extras, and remuneration for any crew members (skipper, hostess, cook, etc.) payable to Filovent on the day of embarkation, shall be retained by Filovent or remain due if not paid.

Please note: your charter will be canceled if you do not meet the deadlines specified in your booking confirmation.

To avoid the risk of losing significant amounts of money in the event that an unforeseen circumstance arises and forces you to cancel the charter, we strongly recommend that you purchase cancellation insurance at the time of booking, which will cover you and your crew .
