Bosa is a town and comune of approximately 8,100 inhabitants located in the province of Oristano in Sardinia, Italy.
Capital of the historic province of Planargia (it), Bosa was, until the end of 2005, the province of Nuoro, but, following the entry into force of Regional Law # 9 of 12 July 2001, it increased in the province of Oristano.
Bosa is famous for its Malvasia di Bosa (sweet white wine), the first wine in Sardinia protected denomination.
