Empuriabrava, official name in Catalan (Empuriabrava in Spanish) located approximately 40 km from the French border, is one of the largest residential marina in the world with over 30 km of canals. It is located on the Costa Brava in Roses Bay (15 km from Figueres, 60 km from Girona Airport, and 120 km from Barcelona).
The luxurious resort, designed specifically for yacht tourism, camping at the entrance of Aiguamolls marshes. They have been transformed into a nature reserve by the strong mobilization of environmentalists in the region.
Next to the Marina is located neighborhoods, residential only, without direct access to the sea by channels.
Empuriabrava has a skydiving center with an international reputation, with over one hundred thousand jumps made annually.
