Sitges is a town in the province of Barcelona, ''Catalonia (Spain). It is one of six municipalities in the county of Garraf. It has a population of over 29,000 inhabitants.
Town located 40 km south of Barcelona, Sitges has long been enclosed. Surrounded by hills and the Mediterranean Sea, it is now accessible by motorway from Barcelona, but very long, only a small seaside road and the road through the mountains by Sant Pere de Ribes allowed to join. The cosmopolitan city is one of the most "connected" to the Mediterranean resort of the great families of Spain, party place of the gilded youth of Barcelona (multiple bars and famous clubs) Spanish resorts, gay capital European.
Sitges is a city known for its monuments. El Palau Maricel, marvel imprint of blue and white, often hosts musical performances. La Punta (the church) is one of the legendary places in Sitges for its inhabitants. it somehow symbolizes the city.
