Sitges is a town in the province of Barcelona, ''Catalonia (Spain). It is one of six municipalities in the county of Garraf. It has a population of over 29,000 inhabitants.
Town located 40 km south of Barcelona, Sitges has long been enclosed. Surrounded by hills and the Mediterranean Sea, it is now accessible by motorway from Barcelona, but very long, only a small seaside road and the road through the mountains by Sant Pere de Ribes allowed to join.
