The most famous beaches in Spain
Located near the seaside resort of Castelldefels, the town of Sitges is renowned for its beaches and particularly clean water. Several beaches can be seen along the seafront promenade, separated by small dikes, which you can follow by boat from the church of Sitges to Terramar. The sandy beach in the center of Sitges, stretching for 2.5 km, Platja Sant Sebastiá, to the east of the church, and Platja de la Fragata offer swimming opportunities for the whole family.
If you sail to the port, you will reach the beach of the Marina d'Aiguadolç. A little less urban than the beaches close to the city center, this one offers its visitors a little tranquility and has a small snack bar for those who wish to eat.
