Lovers of beautiful architecture will linger in the old town, where there are some remarkable monuments such as the church of Santa Eugenia de Villarromá, which has dominated the Sant Joan de Palamós district since the 13th century, or thechurch of Santa Maria de Palamós, a Roman Catholic church built from the 15th century onwards.
Gourmets will linger in Palamós to sample the traditional Mediterranean cuisine. You will be able to sample the famous pink shrimps, the stars of Palamós, served with various dishes in sauce or grilled.
