Check-in at Luxor west bank and Lunch on board. After Lunch, visit East bank, the gigantic temples... more+ complex of Karnak, followed by the awesome Luxor Temple started by Amenophis III in the 14th century B.C. and extended by Ramsis II. Dinner & Overnight at Luxor west bank.

Early breakfast on board. Visit the West Bank Necropolis, the burial ground of the Pharaohs the... more+ Valley of the Kings, where Howard Carter discovered the tomb of Tutankhamen in 1922, proceed to the nearby Valley of the Queens, the mortuary temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Sail to Esna and lunch on board, we set the sails and start a fantastic and unforgettable time on the river Nile. Dinner and overnight near el Batekh Island.

El Batekh Island El Kab Edfu
Early in the morning, we’ll pass through the Esna Lock and enjoy breakfast while cruising down... more+ the Nile, followed by a visit to the town of El Kab, where we’ll explore the “unknown city,” discover the ancient walls, the temple, and the rock-cut tombs from the New Kingdom. We’ll then cruise to Edfu and have lunch on board. Visit the Temple of Edfu, take a horse-drawn carriage ride through the village to the magnificent Temple of Horus, one of Egypt’s largest and best-preserved monuments (alternative transportation available upon request). Two magnificent granite statues of the falcon god Horus flank the entrance, then we continue our day’s cruise and discover along the way the simple life of farmers and fishermen, the picturesque and magical scenery along the Nile, and the lush, fertile landscapes with fields of sugarcane, banana trees, and date palms. Shortly before sunset, we drop anchor near Sheikh Rehan Island, where we dine in an atmospheric setting and spend the night.

Early sailing to Gebel Silsela, enjoying breakfast on board. Continue our relaxing sailing day.... more+ After Lunch we go at shore to discover the old Pharaonic quarries of Silsela with the unknown rock cut temple of Hormoheb. From the top of the mountain we enjoy a breathtaking view. Closed to Kom Ombo we stay at the edge of al Bashir Island for BBQ dinner and overnight.

Beshir Kom Ombo Aswan
Sail to Kom Ombo, and after breakfast, visit Kom Ombo where we explore the exceptional beautiful... more+ temple of Haroeris (Horus the Elder) and Sobek (Crocodile God). The temple was built with two symmetric entrances, halls and sanctuaries; it is the only double temple all over of Egypt. Lunch on board and proceed to Aswan city. The rest of the day is dedicated to sailing till Aswan west bank.

Dahabiehs are traditional sailing boats that navigate primarily under sail. When wind conditions do not permit it, or on certain stretches of the Nile, the boat may be towed at a distance (approximately 30 m) by a small tugboat, as dahabiehs do not have engines
