Why do we automatically charge our customers' credit cards on the due date?

Updated on: 26/05/2025
This was originally a request from our customers; in fact, a few years ago we had to follow up with them (via email, phone, etc.), as some customers were late, traveling, and unable to pay the balance on time.
Sometimes, we found ourselves caught in the middle between the rental company, which wanted to cancel without payment of the balance, and the customer, who was unable to pay or could not be reached.
Filovent pays the balance to the rental company as soon as we receive your payment and does not advance the funds.

We notify you in three ways:

1) When you confirm, you agree to all of Filovent’s Terms and Conditions, particularly Section 6.5 regarding the payment of the balance.
Excerpt from our Terms and Conditions:
"6.5. By paying the deposit by credit card, the Customer expressly consents to the retention of their banking information so that the balance of the rental may be automatically charged to the card used to pay the deposit on the due date specified in the contract. The Customer is informed of this prior to paying the deposit, via a notice displayed during the payment process."

2) When you pay, we will inform you of the due date for payment of the balance. This date is also indicated on your reservation confirmation.

3) You will receive an email a few days before the charge to notify you.
