Tinos is an island north of the Greek Cyclades in the southern Aegean Sea. It lies between Andros and Mykonos. Its main port and capital of Tinos is dominated by the imposing rock of Exombourgo (640 m). Its inhabitants are called Tiniotes.
Tinos is an island still relatively few foreign tourists. It is true that its ancient monuments are little known and its coasts are mostly composed of stones and pebbles although it still counts a few sandy beaches. Exposure to winds from the north, mainly meltem in summer, do not play no more in his favor. This feature was even in mythology, it was the home of Aeolus.
