La Spezia is an Italian town of about 92,000 inhabitants, capital of the province of the same name in Liguria. Its name literally means in French "The spice. "
The city lies between Genoa and Pisa on the edge of a small bay on the southern tip of the mountainous coast of Liguria, she looks to the south and Tuscany.
