At sea Antarctic Peninsula
The most common reaction upon approaching the Antarctic Peninsula is a sense of awe and wonder. The... see+ experience is beyond words, as few places are as pristine and fascinating as Antarctica. You’ll begin to appreciate why this region has captivated the attention of explorers and travelers. Every visit to Antarctica holds something new or unexpected, which means your expedition will be one of a kind, creating a truly unique personal experience.
Every day, you’ll take Zodiac excursions from the ship to explore local bays, channels, and landing sites. With wildlife always in mind, you’ll visit penguin rookeries, search for humpback whales and minke whales, and look for several species of southern seals, including the elusive leopard seal.
Your expedition team will look after you during every landing, whether you’re exploring the Antarctic terrain, visiting a research station, or interacting with penguin colonies. Here you’ll find Chinstrap, Adélie, and Gentoo penguins, as well as five different species of seals. Zodiac excursions can offer opportunities to observe some of the area’s largest marine mammals up close, such as humpback whales and minke whales.
Your days will be filled with wildlife viewing and marveling at the breathtaking beauty of Antarctica. Listening to the cracking and rumbling of icebergs and glaciers and watching penguins waddle along the beach will become your daily entertainment, while sea kayaking or paddleboarding excursions are optional activities available on select trips (at an additional cost).

Antarctic Peninsula At sea
Crossing the Antarctic Circle is both a memorable experience and an impressive achievement, as few... see+ travelers venture this far south. Conditions permitting, we will cross this famous latitude of 66°33' S; we will be the first explorers to venture here, and you can raise a glass and take pride in knowing that you are part of a world visited by very few people. This is Antarctica at its rawest—home to the midnight sun, the Weddell Sea, and your best chance to encounter sea ice—the very foundation of the Antarctic marine ecosystem.

At sea Antarctic Peninsula
By now, you’ll be able to tell Adélie, Chinstrap, and Gentoo penguins apart, just as you can... see+ distinguish between a leopard, a crab, and a Weddell seal. Terms like “bergys bits” and “pancake ice” will be part of your vocabulary, and yet there are still many stories to tell. As you head north, Zodiac excursions will fill your days, and your expedition team will continue to search for species of seabirds, seals, and whales that you missed on your journey south.
