Boarding at 6pm in Vienna. Crew introduction and welcome cocktail. In the evening, optional... see+ authentic excursion/experience: Viennese music concert (subject to availability). In a legendary Viennese venue, enjoy some of the finest works by Mozart and Strauss, and let yourself be transported to the rhythm of waltzes, polkas, arias...

Vienne Bratislava
Optional excursions:
- Authentic: Vienna and a visit to Schoenbrunn Palace. A prestigious court... see+ center in the 18th century, the castle's ochre facade is closely linked to the dual Austro-Hungarian monarchy. The splendid edifice is home to eminently refined imperial furnishings, and the spirit of the Habsburgs watches over the dazzling residence. Then take a panoramic tour of the famous boulevard known as "the Ring". You'll see the exceptional monuments built between 1830 and 1890 that give it its unique atmosphere.
- Experience Vienna as the Viennese do. You'll discover one of Vienna's most important concert venues, the famous Konzerthaus. Inaugurated in 1913 by Emperor Franz Joseph, the Konzerthaus has since evolved from tradition and innovation to become one of the most popular venues for musical ensembles (a visit to the Konzerthaus may be replaced by a visit to the Musikverein, or the opera house in the event of performances or unavailability). You'll then head off to one of the city's many cafés for a cup of Viennese coffee. You'll have to go back to imperial times to discover its origins. During the harsh winters, carriage drivers would drink a hot cup of coffee topped with whipped cream between each run, to keep them going. The "coachman's coffee" or "Einspänner" was later called Viennese coffee outside Austria. Sailing to Bratislava, arrival in the afternoon. Optional excursions:
- Authentic: guided tour of Bratislava. Situated at the foot of the Little Carpathians, Bratislava radiates out from its wooded and rocky surroundings. Its castle, the city's emblem, stands on a hill above the Danube. From its forecourt, you can enjoy a unique view of the city and the river. The medieval old town is not to be outdone, with its maze of winding streets, squares, fountains and cafés. Bratislava is also known for its intense cultural and nightlife scene.
- Experience: hiking in the Little Carpathians through the Devinska Kobyla nature reserve. This Slovakian nature reserve, just a few kilometers from the capital, takes you to the ruins of Devin Castle, from where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Danube.

Bratislava Budapest
Optional excursion common to both packages: Guided tour of Budapest. Budapest reveals its splendor... see+ around the Danube. The architecture designed by man century after century has given rise to Baroque, Neoclassical and Art Nouveau buildings. Take a panoramic tour of the hills of Buda and the plains of Pest... Then along the river to admire the Parliament building overlooking the Danube.

Return to the boat.

Afternoon at leisure or optional excursions outside the package:
- Visit to the Gellert baths. With its Art Nouveau decor, artistic mosaics and sculptures, the Gellert baths are surprisingly beautiful. It's also an opportunity to take a break and enjoy a moment of relaxation. So don't forget your swimsuits, this is a unique opportunity.
- visit to Budapest's covered market Depart on foot for Budapest's covered market. With its gleaming Zsolnay tile roof, Budapest's Grand Central Market is the largest market hall built in the 19th century. You'll discover an incredible array of products, including the famous paprika garlands. A tasting of sweet local specialties will round off your visit. Return to the ship on foot.

Evening at leisure or authentic excursion/experience: folklore evening in Budapest during which you'll discover typical Gypsy dances and costumes. Departure around midnight.

Budapest Kalocsa Novi Sad
Arrival in Kalocsa, optional authentic excursion/experience: the Puszta. In the heart of the great... see+ Hungarian plain, now a nature reserve, you'll travel by horse-drawn carriage across the wild steppes. You'll be treated to an equestrian show where you can admire the riders and their horses. The tour ends with a tasting of local products. Sailing to Mohacs, customs check and on to Novi Sad.

Novi Sad Belgrade
Early morning arrival in Novi Sad. Optional excursions:
- Authentic: visit Novi Sad and Sremski... see+ Karlovci. A panoramic coach tour will give you a glimpse of Novi Sad's magnificent Austro-Hungarian architecture. It is considered by Serbs to be one of the most beautiful cities in the country. Then on to Sremski Karlovci. This bucolic little town is a veritable open-air museum. The historic center seems to have sprung from the past. The village is totally untouched by the urbanism that disfigures modern cities, and offers visitors a haven of peace bathed in Hungarian and Romanian influences.
- Experience: a brisk walk to the Petrovaradin fortress, an impressive monument built to Vauban's plans. It is included in the Republic of Serbia's list of historico-cultural spatial entities of great importance. Enjoy a magnificent view. A snack will be offered. Return on board.

Sailing to Belgrade. Arrival in the Serbian capital in the evening. Evening at leisure OR optional authentic/experiential excursion: folk evening in Belgrade. Enjoy a colorful show. Musicians and dancers in colorful traditional costumes will take you on a journey through the different regions of Serbia. After the show, stroll through the bohemian district of Skadarlija.

- Authentic: visit Belgrade. The Serbian capital has forged its identity from... see+ the confluence of Ottoman, Austrian and Slavic cultures. Built on a series of hills backed by the Sava River, Belgrade offers a variety of urban landscapes to discover. See streets of 19th-century mansions, Art Nouveau buildings and Kalemegdan Park.
- Experience Belgrade by bike. The "White City" boasts plenty of space, vast riverbanks and green spaces. At the crossroads of its Eastern, Slavic and Austrian influences, the Serbian capital has carved out its own identity, winning over many a traveler.

Return on board. Sailing to Donji Milanovac. You'll sail across the great plain, skirting the islands of Cakljanac, Grocanska... Then, after passing the village of Ram, the landscape changes to give way to a wide panorama between river and mountain, further on, at the entrance to the Djerdap gorge, the Golubac fortress announces the Carpathian massifs.

A day of sailing. In the morning we pass the famous Iron Gates, the most spectacular part of this... see+ defile nicknamed by navigators "Les Chaudières" because the water, squeezed between the steep mountain walls, once seemed to bubble. You'll see in turn the "Tabula Traiana", a huge marble plaque reminiscent of the "imperial road", an elegant viaduct overlooking the river mouth, and the "portrait" of Décébal, carved in stone. Passage des portes de Fer Ruse
Arrival in Roussé, one of Bulgaria's largest ports. Optional authentic excursion/experience: visit... see+ to the Roussenki Lom valley. In northeastern Bulgaria, a series of rock-cut churches, chapels, monasteries and cells has developed near the village of Ivanovo. It was here that the first hermits dug their cells and churches in the 12th century. The 14th-century murals bear witness to an exceptional artistic technique distinctive of the Tarnovo school of painting. Visit one of them.

In the afternoon, free time or optional authentic excursion/experience: visit Roussé. Surprising, without a doubt. The town boasts precious buildings and a magnificent architectural heritage. Proud of its "Golden Dozen" treasures, it reveals its masterpieces along its wide avenues. The tour ends with a tasting of local products. Folklore evening on board.

Ruse Bucharest Cernavoda
Optional authentic excursion day / experience: guided tour of Bucharest. Nicknamed “Little... see+ Paris” in the 1930s. Welcoming and full of life, the Romanian capital leaves no one indifferent. Its monumental avenues are punctuated by beautiful gardens, parks and surprising alleyways. Communism may have changed the face of the city, as evidenced by the gigantic Palace of Parliament, but the “Little Paris of the Balkans” has retained the joie de vivre of a mixed-race city with a 19th-century feel.

Typical lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Bucharest Ecomuseum for an insight into Romanian country architecture and farming traditions. Then head to the Palace of Parliament for a photo stop. The day ends with a visit to the Orthodox Church of the Patriarchs.

Return on board to Fetesti Cernavoda. Evening dance on board.

Morning sailing on the Danube-Black Sea Canal. The completion of the Danube-Black Sea Canal is a... see+ colossal work in the history of Communism in Romania and Eastern Europe. Late morning arrival in Constanta. Optional authentic excursion/experience: guided tour of Constanta and local wine tasting. This Romanian city is the best known on the Black Sea coast. Once an important Greek trading post, it has preserved a number of interesting vestiges from its heyday. Not least the remarkable 3rd-century Roman mosaic. The streets of the old town are also full of surprises, as far as the seafront and the casino, which raises its rococo façade against the wind. Then on to Murfatlar. The sunny Dobrogean plateau on the shores of the Black Sea is the country's most promising region. Murfatlar's vineyards have won numerous international awards, particularly for their Chardonnay. Wine tasting in a local cellar. Folklore evening on board. Night stopover.
