Siem Reap
Arrival in Siem Reap in the morning. Transfer to the 5* Sokha Angkor Resort hotel (or similar).... see+ Depending on arrival time, free time, then lunch at the hotel and check-in. In the afternoon, first exploration of Siem Reap with a visit to a village on the side of the boat of Tonlé Sap Lake. Dinner at a restaurant and overnight stay at the hotel.

In the morning, set off to explore Angkor and one of the ancient capitals of the Khmer Empire,... see+ Angkor Thom. At the center of this fortified complex with its monumental gates, visit the remarkable Bayon, built by the great builder king Jayavarman VII.
The temple, surrounded by towers carved with smiling faces, extends to the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King, which overlook the central square of this ancient royal city. Angkor Thom also has two important pyramid temples, Phimeanakas and Baphuon, whose restoration by the French School of the Far East was completed in 2011.
In the afternoon, visit the spectacular Ta Prohm. This temple, immersed in tropical vegetation, has been deliberately left in a state similar to that in which it was rediscovered at the beginning of the 20th century. Dinner at a restaurant and overnight stay at the hotel.

Siem Reap
Depart for a full day dedicated to Angkor. In the morning, visit Banteay Srei temple. Nicknamed... see+ "the Citadel of Women," this flat temple surrounded by moats is a marvel, built in the 10th century, whose appearance has retained a remarkable freshness. Built on laterite, the pink sandstone has been carved with extreme finesse. Lunch in a restaurant in town. Continue to Angkor Wat, the largest temple in the Angkor site, whose majesty and harmony represent the pinnacle of Khmer art. The outer galleries, decorated with sculptures and narrative bas-reliefs, support a central sanctuary, the kingdom of the gods.

Visit to Senteurs d'Angkor. This company aims to develop sustainable and equitable arts and crafts in the Angkor region, as well as to train young Cambodians from disadvantaged backgrounds in the manufacture of candles and food products. Return to the hotel. Dinner at a restaurant and overnight stay at the hotel.

Departure and transfer by coach (5 hours) to Kampong Cham, where you will board your boat. A packed... see+ lunch will be provided during the journey. Stop at the Kampong Kdei Deck, dating back to the Angkorian era and built during the reign of Jayavarman VII. Arrival on the side of the boat in the mid-afternoon. Welcome buffet and settling into cabins. Start of the cruise to Angkor Ban. Welcome dinner on board.

Kampong Cham Angkor Ban Silk Island Phnom Penh
Arrival in Angkor Ban in the morning. Overlooking the Mekong River, Angkor Ban offers a peaceful... see+ and majestic view of the river bathed in morning light in this still unspoiled part of the country. Angkor Ban is one of the very few villages that was not pitched or destroyed during the Khmer Rouge period. It offers an intimate glimpse into Cambodian life, at the pace of its inhabitants. Visit the village on stilts, discover the pagoda and traditional houses, some of which are over a hundred years old.

Return on board to continue sailing. After lunch on board, stopover and discovery on foot and by tuk-tuk of a weaving village on Silk Island. Stop at a school. Return on board, then sail to Phnom Penh. Arrival in Phnom Penh at the end of the day. Lecture on board about Cambodia by a specialist and dinner on board.

In the morning, visit the Royal Palace, residence of the King of Cambodia. This complex of... see+ pavilions and pagodas forms a vast architectural ensemble. Visit the Silver Pagoda, which houses several national treasures. Then continue on to the National Museum, the country's main historical and archaeological museum, which has one of the most important collections of Khmer art. Lunch on the side of the boat. In the afternoon, visit the Tuol Sleng Museum. This former detention center, grimly known as S-21 between 1975 and 1979, was set up in a former high school. Here, in a solemn atmosphere, visitors can appreciate the extent of the tragedy experienced by the Cambodian people under the Khmer Rouge regime. On the way back to the boat, stop at Vat Phnom Hill, a picturesque sanctuary dedicated to Lady Penh, after whom the city is named. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Khmer dance performance on the side of the boat. Dinner and overnight stay on the side of the boat.

Arrival in Sa Dec, where French writer Marguerite Duras spent part of her childhood. City tour to... see+ soak up the Mediterranean atmosphere of this lively delta town, where a few colonial houses remain. Visit the "Chinese House," described in The Lover, which has been converted into a small museum, then a Caodaist temple, a syncretic religion that is very present in southern Vietnam. Explore the local market. Lunch on the side of the boat. Crossing the province of Vinh Long, the "Majestic Dragon," located in the center of the delta regions, between two spinnaker arms of the Mekong River. Arrival in Cai Be. Departure in small local boats to reach Tan Phong Island. Walk to discover the making of decorative objects from water hyacinths. The afternoon continues with a ride in small vehicles through the fruit fields. Stop in a garden for an introduction to exotic fruits. Before returning to the side of the boat, pass by boat in front of the Gothic cathedral of Cai Be and meet a family making rice leaves and coconut candies. Return to the side of the boat at the end of the afternoon. Dinner on board.

Cai Be Ben Tre Vinh Long
In the morning, depart in small boats to discover the floating coconut market in the Ben Tre... see+ district. Then visit Vinh Buu Pagoda and return to the side of the boat. After lunch, the boat waters-jets at Vinh Long. Depart on an excursion aboard small boats along the side of the boat of a canal hauled in by impressive brick kilns in the Mang Thit district and discover a factory. Visit Van Thanh Mieu Temple (Temple of Literature), built in 1864 in honor of Phan Thanh Gian, the mandarin who signed the treaty ceding the three eastern provinces of Cochinchina to France. At the end of the day, enjoy a traditional Hat Boi show, combining dance, song, and storytelling. Return to the side of the boat for dinner.

Depart for a panoramic tour through the main streets of the city center to discover the colonial past of the former southern capital: the Reunification Palace (exterior view), the former presidential palace and symbol of the fall of Saigon on April 30, 1975; the majestic Notre-Dame Cathedral of Saigon and the famous central post office built by Gustave Eiffel. Dinner in town. Overnight at the hotel.

Buffet lunch on the side of the boat, then depart by tender to discover pearl farming in Halong Bay. Visit the Tung Sau pearl farm. On the way back, after a short sail, your boat will moor near a beach. From there, you can climb to a higher vantage point to admire the view.
