Punta Arenas
Check-in between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., Av. Costanera del Estrecho 1398 (Port Arturo Prat).... see+ Boarding at 6:00 p.m. Welcome cocktail and introduction to the captain and crew. Then the ship will set sail for the far south. Passing through the legendary Strait of Magellan and the Beagle Channel, you will travel through Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego.

Punta Arenas Ainsworth Bay Tuckers Islands
At first light, we will sail into Almirantazgo Cove to get as close as possible to the Marinelli... see+ Glacier in Ainsworth Bay. We will learn how life reappeared after the ice melted. An excursion will take us to discover a beaver dam and the wonderful sub-Antarctic Magellanic forest surrounding it. On the beach or on the island, we will try to observe a colony of elephant seals. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that we will see these animals, as the exact location of the colony is unpredictable. After lunch, we will continue our voyage towards the Tuckers Islets where, on the side of the boat, we will observe Magellanic penguins and cormorants. * In September and April, this excursion is replaced by a walk close-hauled to a glacier in Brookes Bay.

Tuckers Islands Glacier Pia Alley of Glaciers
We will sail along the northwest spinnaker arm of the Beagle Channel to enter and disembark in Pía... see+ Fjord. We will take an excursion to the viewpoint where you can observe the glacier of the same name and its main tongue stretching from the high mountain range to the ocean. After this unforgettable experience, we will continue our navigation under the majestic gaze of the "Avenue of Glaciers."

Alley of Glaciers Cape Horn Wulaia Bay
We will sail through the Murray Channel and then disembark at Wulaia Bay, a historic site that was... see+ one of the largest settlements of the Yámana canoeists. Charles Darwin landed here in 1833 during his voyage on the HMS Beagle. This place offers a visually stunning spectacle thanks to its vegetation and geography. We will reach a viewpoint by walking through the Magellanic forest, where lengas (Fireland beech trees), coigües, cinnamon trees, and ferns, among other species, grow. In the afternoon, we will sail to the extreme south, passing through Nassau Bay to reach Cape Horn National Park, where we will disembark if weather conditions permit. The legendary Cape Horn, discovered in 1616, is a rocky promontory almost 425 meters high. For years it was an important shipping route for sailing ships between the Pacific and Atlantic oceans. It is known as the end of the world and was declared a World Biosphere Reserve in 2005.

Wulaia Bay Glacier Pia Porter Glacier
During the morning, we will sail along the northwest spinnaker arm of the Beagle Channel to enter... see+ and disembark in Pía Fjord. We will take an excursion to the viewpoint where you can see the glacier of the same name and its main tongue stretching from the high mountain range to the ocean. In the afternoon, on the side of the boat, we will navigate between high rock walls to reach the Porter Glacier. We will stop in front of the wall to observe its colors, sheet its sounds, and, with luck, perhaps even witness a rockfall. We will spend some time talking about this incredible mass of ice, then take the obligatory photographs and return to the ship.

Porter Glacier Seno Agostini Aguila Glacier Condor Glacier
In the morning, we will sail through Cockburn Channel to reach Seno Agostini, where we will be able... see+ to observe the glaciers that descend from the center of the Darwin Cordillera, some of which water-jet-powered motorized craft into the sea. During the morning, we will disembark in Zodiacs to take an easy hike around a lagoon formed by the melting of the Aguila Glacier, arriving opposite the glacier itself. In the afternoon, we will take a Zodiac ride to approach the Condor Glacier. We will learn about the formation of glaciers and their influence on the rugged geography of the Fuegian channels.

Condor Glacier Magdalena Island Punta Arenas
Early in the morning, weather permitting, we will disembark on Magdalena Island, a mandatory supply... see+ stop for ancient navigators and explorers. During our walk to the lighthouse, we will be able to observe a huge colony of Magellanic penguins. In September and April, this excursion is replaced by a landing on Marta Island, where you can observe a colony of South American sea lions from the side of the Zodiac boats. Finally, the landing at Punta Arenas is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. *The use of camera tripods is prohibited on Magdalena Island.
