Upon arrival, our representative will welcome you before transferring you with your English-speaking guide in an air-conditioned vehicle. Your tour begins on the east bank of Luxor, site of the fabulous Karnak complex—the largest religious complex ever built, dedicated to the Theban triad with Amun-Ra. Its ancient name "Ipet-isut" means "the most sacred place." The spectacular hypostyle hall has 137 monumental columns. You will then explore the Theban Necropolis on the west bank, including the Valley of the Kings with its tombs of New Kingdom pharaohs. The tour continues to the Colossi of Memnon (remains of the temple of Amenhotep III) and the mortuary temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari. Carved into the Theban cliff, this three-level temple combines harmony and modernity. Although dedicated to Amun, it also houses chapels of Anubis and Hathor.
