Then on to the Temple of Hatshepsut. Attributed to the pharaoh of the same name, this heritage of the Egyptian people is a must-see for all visitors. In the afternoon, discover the Temples of Karnak and Luxor. Located less than 3 km apart, Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple were linked by the Avenue of the Sphinxes, once lined with 600 Sphinxes.

Arrive at Edfu and discover the temple dedicated mainly to the god Horus, son of Isis and Osiris,... see+ and one of the most venerated gods of the Egyptian religion. The Temple of Edfu is made up of traditional elements from New Kingdom Egyptian temples, as well as a few Greek elements, such as the mamisi (divine birth house), which is located to the west of the temple's main entrance. It consists of an entrance, a courtyard and a chapel. The walls of the mamisi are decorated with scenes depicting the story of the divine birth of Horus the child, in the presence of the goddess Hathor, the god Khenum and other deities concerned with pregnancy and birth.

The great monuments of ancient Egypt bear witness to the grandeur of the pharaohs who built them. The stone quarries, on the other hand, reveal the efforts made by the Egyptian people to create the enormous edifices commissioned by their kings. The most famous of these is undoubtedly the granite quarry at Aswan. It houses the famous unfinished obelisk. Built almost 1,500 years BC, this monolithic monument allows modern-day tourists and archaeologists to discover the secrets of the largest obelisks erected throughout the country.

Carved into the... see+ cliffs 3,000 years ago, the Abu Simbel temples are considered to be the 8th wonder of the world. Threatened by the waters of the Nile after the construction of the Aswan Dam in the 1960s, the temples were cut up and moved block by block in record time. Masterpieces of Antiquity, the Abu Simbel temples still bear witness to an empire at its height and to the power of Pharaoh Ramses II. Return to Aswan. Transfer to the airport.
