Welcome to the heart of Egypt! Upon your arrival in Luxor, we will greet you and arrange your... see+ transfer to your dahabiya, the charming boat that will be your floating home throughout this journey. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a self-guided visit of the city to discover Luxor at your own pace. Dinner and overnight stay on board your dahabiya, ready to begin your adventure on the Nile.

After breakfast, set off with your guide to explore the majestic Karnak Temple, the largest... see+ religious complex in ancient Egypt. Back on board, we head south: our dahabieh glides along the Nile towards the Esna lock, passing palm groves and riverside villages.

Luxor Esna Edfou
At dawn, our dahabieh passes through the Esna lock. Immediately afterwards, we head for a hidden... see+ gem: the Small Temple of Khnum, tucked away among the old houses and dedicated to the ram-headed creator god. Look up: its celestial ceiling still retains its surprisingly vivid colors.
In the afternoon, the Nile carries us to Edfu. We then explore one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. At sunset, we head for a peaceful island to light a fire: barbecue on the shore, stars above, and a gentle night on the side of the boat.

Breakfast on board, then set off on foot to explore Gebel el Silsila and its quarry, the largest... see+ sandstone quarry of the Pharaonic era. Discover numerous inscriptions, stelae, and decorated tombs, and visit the small rock-cut temple of Pharaoh Horemheb. Return on board for lunch and sail towards Kom Ombo. Arriving at the Temple of Kom Ombo just before the large cruise ships, you will have the rare privilege of exploring this beautiful temple almost alone. It is dedicated to two deities: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god. End your visit at the fascinating Crocodile Mummy Museum. A short sail to Daraw for the night. Dinner and overnight on board.

Set off at dawn to see this architectural gem built by Ramses II close to the Sudanese border. Discover the Great Temple of Ramses II, with its four monumental colossi and frescoes detailing the pharaoh's exploits, as well as the Small Temple dedicated to Queen Nefertari, a rare and moving tribute to an Egyptian queen. Back on the dahabeya, let yourself be lulled by the tranquility of the Nile as you resume sailing, while the magical landscapes of the riverbanks roll by.
