Our local partner will meet you at Luxor Airport and accompany you to the Dahabeya on the west bank... see+ of the Nile in Luxor. You will be welcomed by the crew with a refreshing welcome drink, and your luggage will be brought to your cabin by the crew upon boarding. Then you will disembark with our tour guide, who will take you to visit the famous historical monuments on the west bank of Luxor. The first stop will be the Valley of the Kings, the ancient royal necropolis where the almost intact tomb of Tutankhamun was discovered in 1922. Next, we will visit the magnificent rock-cut temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and you will also have the opportunity to visit the alabaster factory to see how ancient artists carved the stones. On the way, we will stop at the Colossi of Memnon. We will then visit the vast complex of Amun-Ra, also known as Karnak, and from there you will proceed to the Temple of Luxor, one of the best-preserved ancient temples in Egypt.

El Hegz Edfou Fawaza Sarag Island El Ramady Bassaw
Enjoy another leisurely breakfast on the river while sailing to Edfu, where your tour guide will... see+ accompany you on another excursion—this time to visit the ancient Greco-Roman Temple of Horus (Edfu Temple). This is the best-preserved temple in Egypt, as it remained buried beneath the desert sand for about 2,000 years before being rediscovered and excavated.
After your tour, continue sailing, passing by small islands where you can watch children playing by the Nile, as well as buffaloes and donkeys walking along the riverbanks. Enjoy lunch on board and keep sailing until you reach the small island village of Bassaw. This community of 500 inhabitants cultivates its own food, including mangoes, bananas, and dates, and relies on fishing for a living. Noticeably isolated from the surrounding areas, Bassaw seems frozen in time.
Upon arrival, visit Bassaw Village. At a local farmer’s home, we will be warmly welcomed and have the opportunity to ask questions, particularly about girls’ education on the island. (There may even be a chance to bake our own local sun bread for dinner.)
Enjoy dinner on the island, where the crew will present an Egyptian night of fun with folkloric performances.

Bassaw Beshir Maniha Kom Ombo Herdiab Assouan
Enjoy breakfast aboard the Dahabeya while sailing towards more islands, such as Bashier and Maliha,... see+ before arriving at Kom Ombo and admiring the wonderful views along the Nile.
Upon arrival at Kom Ombo, your guide will take you to visit the remarkable Kom Ombo Temple. This is one of the most unique and fascinating ancient temples, as it was dedicated to two different gods: Sobek and Haeroris. To accommodate this dual dedication, the builders constructed two of everything, resulting in a complex that is essentially two temples in one.
Continue sailing towards Aswan, passing by Herdiab Island.
After lunch, in the afternoon, we begin our tour in Aswan, starting with the great and magnificent ancient Temple of Philae. Located on Agilka Island, Philae is one of the most beautiful sanctuaries in Egypt. The temple was entirely relocated from its original site to its current location on higher ground to protect it from the rising waters of Lake Nasser following the construction of the Aswan High Dam, which was completed in 1977.
On our way back to our home, the Dahabeya, we will have the opportunity to stop by Aswan Souq (market), where we can practice our bargaining skills, visit the spice market, and enjoy a glass of the famous sugarcane juice.
Overnight in Aswan.
