- Authentic: Vienna and a visit to Schoenbrunn Palace. A prestigious court... see+ center in the 18th century, the castle's ochre facade is closely linked to the dual Austro-Hungarian monarchy. The splendid edifice is home to eminently refined imperial furnishings, and the spirit of the Habsburgs watches over the dazzling residence. Then take a panoramic tour of the famous boulevard known as "the Ring". You'll see the exceptional monuments built between 1830 and 1890 that give it its unique atmosphere.
- Experience Vienna as the Viennese do. You'll discover one of Vienna's most important concert venues, the famous Konzerthaus. Inaugurated in 1913 by Emperor Franz Joseph, the Konzerthaus has since evolved from tradition and innovation to become one of the most popular venues for musical ensembles (a visit to the Konzerthaus may be replaced by a visit to the Musikverein, or the opera house in the event of performances or unavailability). You'll then head off to one of the city's many cafés for a cup of Viennese coffee. You'll have to go back to imperial times to discover its origins. During the harsh winters, carriage drivers would drink a hot cup of coffee topped with whipped cream between each run, to keep them going. The "coachman's coffee" or "Einspänner" was later called Viennese coffee outside Austria. Sailing to Bratislava, arrival in the afternoon. Optional excursions:
- Authentic: guided tour of Bratislava. Situated at the foot of the Little Carpathians, Bratislava radiates out from its wooded and rocky surroundings. Its castle, the city's emblem, stands on a hill above the Danube. From its forecourt, you can enjoy a unique view of the city and the river. The medieval old town is not to be outdone, with its maze of winding streets, squares, fountains and cafés. Bratislava is also known for its intense cultural and nightlife scene.
- Experience: hiking in the Little Carpathians through the Devinska Kobyla nature reserve. This Slovakian nature reserve, just a few kilometers from the capital, takes you to the ruins of Devin Castle, from where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Danube.

It is considered by Serbs to be one of the most beautiful cities in the country. Then on to Sremski Karlovci. This bucolic little town is a veritable open-air museum. The historic center seems to have sprung from the past. The village is totally untouched by the urbanism that disfigures modern cities, and offers visitors a haven of peace bathed in Hungarian and Romanian influences.
- Experience: a brisk walk to the Petrovaradin fortress, an impressive monument built to Vauban's plans. It is included in the Republic of Serbia's list of historico-cultural spatial entities of great importance. Enjoy a magnificent view. A snack will be offered. Return on board.

Arrival in Roussé, one of Bulgaria's largest ports. Optional authentic excursion/experience: visit... see+ to the Roussenki Lom valley. In northeastern Bulgaria, a series of rock-cut churches, chapels, monasteries and cells has developed near the village of Ivanovo. It was here that the first hermits dug their cells and churches in the 12th century. The 14th-century murals bear witness to an exceptional artistic technique distinctive of the Tarnovo school of painting. Visit one of them.

Optional authentic excursion day / experience: guided tour of Bucharest. Nicknamed “Little... see+ Paris” in the 1930s. Welcoming and full of life, the Romanian capital leaves no one indifferent. Its monumental avenues are punctuated by beautiful gardens, parks and surprising alleyways. Communism may have changed the face of the city, as evidenced by the gigantic Palace of Parliament, but the “Little Paris of the Balkans” has retained the joie de vivre of a mixed-race city with a 19th-century feel.

Typical lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Bucharest Ecomuseum for an insight into Romanian country architecture and farming traditions. Then head to the Palace of Parliament for a photo stop. The day ends with a visit to the Orthodox Church of the Patriarchs.

Before becoming the capital of independent Slovakia in 1993, Bratislava was first the capital of Hungary from 1536 to 1784 under the name Pressburg. It then belonged to Czechoslovakia and became the capital of the "Slovak Socialist Republic," part... see+ of Czechoslovakia between 1969 and 1992. Accompanied by your guides, you will begin the tour with a panoramic tour of the city that will take you to Bratislava Castle ( exterior), dating from 1811, as the previous castle burned down. From there, you will have a stunning view of the Danube and the city. The main historical monuments are located in the old town, where the bus will drop you off to continue the tour on foot. You will enter through Michael's Gate, the only remaining gate dating back to the Middle Ages. The Puszta, also known as the Great Plain, is a vast flat grassland that was considered the Wild West of Hungary in the 19th century, with huge herds of cattle... see+ grazing under the watchful eye of cowboys. The Puszta has been a World Heritage Site since 1999. During this tour, you will discover the Puszta, its breathtaking landscapes and surprising wildlife from horse-drawn carts, the region's picturesque means of transport. In a small part of the world's largest steppe, you will have the opportunity to seeraczka sheep with twisted horns, mangalica pigs with curly hair, and gray cattle with long horns, as well as rare bird species. Departure by coach to discover the city of Novi Sad. Capital of the autonomous region of Vojvodina, Novi Sad is also Serbia's second largest city in terms of population. The city has a long and eventful history, having been ruled by the Celts, Romans, Franks,... see+ Barbarians, and Turks before becoming part of the Habsburg Empire. It was then known as Petrovaradin, while the name Novi Sad, meaning "new plant," appeared in 1748. The city's history was further disrupted during the 20th century, as after World War I, the territories of the Balkans were successively united or separated, under different names, until 2006, when the city became part of independent Serbia. You will visit the city center by foot. The old Austro-Hungarian town with its Baroque buildings developed around the old fortifications. You will have the opportunity to discover the bishop's seat and an Orthodox church before continuing up the main street to Freedom Square, wherethe town hall, dating from 1895, is located. You will board the bus again near Liberty Square to end the tour with a panoramic tour that will give you an overview as you drive up the grand boulevards and on to the boat. Depart by bus with your guides for the Roussenki Lom Valley to discover one of the rock-hewn churches of Ivanovo, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is in this valley, in northeastern Bulgaria, that a group of churches, chapels, monasteries, and cells... see+ were discovered near the village of Ivanovo. The first hermits carved their cells and churches into the rock at a height of over 50 meters in the 12th century. The 14th-century murals are evidence of the exceptional artistic technique characteristic of the Tarnovo school of painting. You will discover the rock church of Archangel Michael, one of the most interesting, dating from the 12th century, with paintings from the 14th century that are evidence of an exceptional artistic technique. Built in the 6th century by the Byzantines, the fortress was one of the most important in Bulgaria from the 12th century onwards. Return to the ship's side of the boat by bus. According to legend, the city was founded by a shepherd named Bucur (which means joy in Romanian). Bucharest suffered greatly during its... see+ communist past but was able to take advantage of significant economic development in 2000 to modernize.You will begin the tour with a panoramic tour of the city, which will give you an overview of the capital's various monuments. You will travel by bus to the Bucharest Ecomuseum (1), a real village within the city where you can discover the habitats of different regions of Romania as well as their crafts. The tour will end with a photo stop at the Palace of Parliament, a titanic neoclassical marble building designed by Ceausescu, followed by a visit to Stavropoleos Monastery or Kretzulescu Church (2). Departure for the optional excursion to Constanta. Departure by bus towards the Black Sea to reach Constanta, founded by the Greeks in the 7th century BC. Today, it has more than 560,000 inhabitants and is the second most important port on the Black Sea after... see+ Istanbul. You will depart from Ovidius Square to visit the Museum of History and Archaeology, which houses artifacts discovered during archaeological excavations. Opposite, a glass museum houses a huge Roman mosaic, a superb polychrome mosaic dating from the 3rd century. You will then discover an architectural melting pot, including the Great Roman Mosque (exterior) and the Orthodox Church (interior). You will also see the Genoa lighthouse. From the pier, there is a beautiful view of old Constanta. The promenade along the seafront, which offers a magnificent view of the rising tide, will take you to the majestic Casino (exterior), built at the beginning of the 20th century in the Secession style (Austrian Art Nouveau). It evokes Constanta in its heyday, when it was the favorite resort of wealthy idlers. Continue towards Murfatlar, where Romania's finest wines are produced. This wine estate, covering more than 4,000 hectares, is the largest in Europe. Wine tasting in a cellar in the town.
