Biarritz Basque Country Biarritz
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for a day trip through the Basque Country. Your tour begins in... see+ Espelette. Visit this colorful town, full of charm with its traditional red half-timbered houses decorated with strings of peppers, representing all the uniqueness of the Basque Country. Renowned for its famous Espelette chilli pepper, it now has an international reputation. Free time.

Afternoon visit to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port and Irouléguy wine tasting. A charming village in the heart of the Pyrenees, Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port was named France's most beautiful village in 2016. What's more, it's the last stop on the Pilgrim's Way to Santiago de Compostela before the Pyrenees, making it a favorite spot for pilgrims. After the guided tour, departure for the Caves Irouléguy. Visit and tasting in the heart of the Basque vineyards.

Bordeaux Cussac-Fort-Médoc The Médoc
Morning sailing to Cussac-Fort-Médoc. Sail along the Garonne to the Bec d'Ambès, then past the... see+ islands of Nord, Bouchaud and Patiras before arriving at Cussac-Fort-Médoc.
In the afternoon, optional excursions:
- Authentic: discovery tour of the Médoc's grands crus and wine tasting. Between sea and river, you'll criss-cross this peninsula where vines rise between polders to the east and pine forests to the west. Châteaux dot the landscape, revealing the famous Grand Cru appellations. A wine tasting is a must.
- Experience a helicopter flight over the Médoc and wine tasting. Transfer to Château-d'Arsac. Set course for the Médoc, a land that has been welcoming visitors for centuries, and whose vineyards are the most famous in the world. You'll fly over this magnificent region, forming the original and unique environment that is the Gironde estuary. At the end of your flight, visit one of the Médoc's oldest estates, which subtly combines exceptional wines and works of art in its "Sculpture Garden".

The Médoc Cussac-Fort-Médoc Gironde estuary Blaye
Early morning sailing to Blaye. Vauban built a citadel here, undoubtedly Blaye's safest... see+ argument.
Optional excursions:
- Authentic: the Corniche road and the Blaye citadel. This narrow, picturesque road winds its way along the Gironde, offering an impressive panorama of the estuary. You'll pass typical fishing villages with their stilt huts and carrelets. Don't miss the local specialty, the famous Bourg fig. The fortified citadel of Blaye is one of the many facets of Vauban's work.
- Experience a walking tour of the underground passages of the Blaye citadel. Step into history and discover the genius of Vauban. This tour will give you an insight into the defense system put in place by the famous architect Sébastien Vauban, as well as the architectural evolution of the fortress. The tour ends with a tasting of regional products.

Sail to Libourne. Nestled at the confluence of the Isle and Dordogne rivers, Libourne has built up... see+ a rich heritage over the centuries. Optional excursions:
- Authentic: Saint-Émilion and wine tasting. This unusual medieval town, nestled in a setting of vineyards, has retained all the charm of its origins: stones with golden reflections, Romanesque tiled roofs, maze of alleyways with uninterrupted views of the surrounding vineyards. Enjoy a wine tasting at one of the wineries. Return to Libourne.
- Experience: Libourne by bike and wine tasting. Guided tour of Libourne, a former English royal bastide. At the confluence of the Isle and Dordogne rivers, the town grew up around its port. See the Saint-Jean-Baptiste church, Place Abel Surchamp and the tower of the grand port. You'll then take your bikes to discover a Pomerol appellation winery. Wine tasting.

Morning sailing to Bordeaux. We pass the village of Bourg before reaching the bec d'Ambès at the... see+ confluence of the Dordogne and Garonne rivers. Continuation on the Garonne to Bordeaux, which we reach in the late morning. Optional excursions:
- Authentic: the Chartrons district, the Musée du Vin et du Négoce and wine tasting. Your tour begins in the Chartrons district, a blend of bourgeoisie and bohemian spirit. A must-see stroll in Bordeaux. Then you'll head to the Musée du Vin et du Négoce, which traces the history of the wine trade in Bordeaux. Wine tasting.
- Experience the Bassins des Lumières. Accompanied by your guide, discover the Bassins des Lumières, the world's largest digital art center. Located in the first four cells of the Bordeaux submarine base, they present monumental immersive digital exhibitions dedicated to the great artists of art history and contemporary creation.

Depart by coach to discover the Médoc, a prestigious wine region. An end of the world producing some of the most prestigious red wines on the planet, nestled between the ocean and an estuary. A mild, humid microclimate that has favored the development of... see+ vineyards. We will pass through most of the prestigious appellations of the Médoc (Saint Julien, Haut-Médoc, etc.). On the famous château route, you will stop at one of them to take part in a tasting of the region's famous wines. Along the way, you will also see the unmissable Châteaux Lafite-Rothschild, Latour, and Mouton Rothschild. You will discover old fishermen's houses, remarkable dwellings nestled in the heart of the cliff, and the famous carrelets, fishermen's huts on stilts along the Gironde. You will stop in Bourg... see+ to enjoy a breathtaking view of the Gironde, then walk down the foot to the market hall where you can taste a Bourg fig, a local specialty. Back in Blaye, take a guided tour of the citadel built by Vauban on a rocky promontory, where your guide will explain the entire fender process. You will also pass through the cloister, once used by soldiers residing in the citadel. End the tour with a tasting of the famous "praslines de Blaye." NOTES The order of visits may be changed. Your guide will introduce you to the history of the medieval city. Carved entirely out of limestone rock, it is the largest of its kind in Europe.
