Amsterdam city tour and canal cruise:
Amsterdam is a city as vibrant as it is... see+ diverse, where modern life blends seamlessly with the charm of the Dutch Golden Age. Here you’ll discover contemporary architecture and trendy bars, as well as quaint cafés, flea markets, and the famous traditional houses on the sides of boats along the canals.
Nowhere else in the world are there as many listed historic buildings as in this Dutch metropolis. The houses seem almost to support one another, so close together are they.
The canals give Amsterdam its unique character and serve as a constant reminder of the country’s maritime and commercial history. This vast network crisscrosses the entire city and shapes its identity: more than 80 kilometers of canals, 165 waterways, 1,281 bridges, 70 tourist boats, 8 wooden drawbridges, 2,500 river boats, and 120 pedal boats have earned Amsterdam the nickname “Venice of the North.”
Enjoy a pleasant cruise along the canals past the sumptuous merchant houses of the Golden Age—undoubtedly one of the highlights of your visit to Amsterdam.
