The ship arrives in Linz, where you can choose from several excursions. Opt for a day trip to... see+ Salzburg, where you will visit the historic center, Mirabell Gardens, Residenzplatz, and the Old Market. You can also choose to take a day trip to the charming Czech mountain town of Ceský Krumlov, where you can stroll through its cobbled streets, admire the picturesque Baroque and Renaissance buildings, and visit Krumlov Castle, one of the largest castle complexes in Europe. Following these day trips, you can also choose to take a short walk, or foot tour, of Linz. Alternatively, join a guided tour through Linz's old town center and pass by Mozart's House, or cycle along the city's famous "Culture Mile" and the Danube. In the afternoon, embark on a journey into the fascinating world of whiskey distillation on an exciting guided tour.

Or take the hiking trail to the ruins of Dürnstein Castle, where Richard the Lionheart was once imprisoned, and enjoy spectacular views of the valley, river, and village below. Today, you have the opportunity to visit both banks of the Danube: Buda (hilly) and Pest (flat).... see+ Start on the Buda side, following your guide through the Castle District where you can admire the fairytale turrets of the Fisherman's Bastion, take in the breathtaking panorama below, and see Matthias Church, renowned for its striking tower and colorful mosaic roof. For a more active tour, climb up to Budapest Castle Hill. In the afternoon, explore the treasures of Pest, admiring the imposing Hungarian Parliament, Heroes' Square, and the moving memorial "Shoes on the Danube Bank."
