Francfort Wertheim
Where the Tauber River flows into the Main River lies the small town of Wertheim. Beautiful... see+ half-timbered houses characterize the market square. Among the town's sights is the parish church, which dates back to the Gothic period. Inside, the Counts of Wertheim, who ruled here from the 15th to the 18th century, found their final resting place.
Other tourist attractions include the Glass Museum and a majestic castle perched on a hill overlooking the town.

Dominating Sandstrasse is Bamberg's Romanesque cathedral, dedicated to St. Peter and St. George. It is nicknamed the Imperial Cathedral because it houses the tombs of Emperor Henry II and Empress Cunegonde. The cathedral also contains the only papal tomb north of the Alps.

Upon arrival in Bamberg, the coach takes you directly to the city’s modern concert hall, home to the... see+ renowned Bamberg Symphony—Bavarian State Philharmonic. From this contemporary setting, your guided walking tour begins and takes place entirely in the historic heart of the city.

The first stop is the imposing Bamberg Cathedral (Dom), dedicated to Saints Peter and George. With its four majestic towers and Romanesque grandeur, it is one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Weather permitting, a tour of the cathedral’s richly decorated interior will be included.
