Reykjavik Constable Point Ittoqqortoormiit
Your Arctic adventure begins in Reykjavík, where you’ll board a private flight to Constable... see+ Point, the gateway to eastern Greenland.
Upon arrival, you’ll board your expedition ship and set sail through the tranquil Hurry Inlet, a fjord flanked by mountains, tundra, and the wild landscapes characteristic of this remote region.
The expedition then stops in Ittoqqortoormiit, one of the most isolated communities on the planet. This visit offers the chance to discover Inuit culture, the village’s colorful houses, and the way of life of its inhabitants, deeply connected to the rhythms of the Arctic.
At the end of the day, the ship continues its journey along Jameson Land, a vast peninsula renowned for its tundra landscapes, mountains, and rich Arctic wildlife, marking the beginning of an exceptional expedition into the heart of eastern Greenland.

The ship sets course for the spectacular Bear Islands, a wild archipelago with rugged coastlines... see+ located at the entrance to the world’s largest network of fjords. Shaped by glaciers and the elements, these islands offer magnificent landscapes where cliffs, mountains, and pack ice form a quintessentially Arctic setting. Nearby, immense icebergs from the Nordvestfjord come to rest in impressive ice fields. These ice giants, broken off from the glaciers of the ice sheet, create a spectacular landscape where shades of blue and white contrast with the surrounding rocky terrain.

Surrounded by towering mountains, this fjord offers breathtaking panoramic views where a dozen glaciers flow down to the sea, giving rise to massive icebergs that drift slowly through its waters.
As the ship sails on, steep peaks rise above the cliffs and glaciers. Among them, the majestic Grundtvigskirken, whose slender silhouette dominates the landscape, is one of the region’s most iconic landmarks.

The exploration continues in the majestic Øfjord, where the landscapes reveal the full diversity... see+ of eastern Greenland. The vast tundras bordering the fjords are home to large populations of musk oxen, while polar bears frequent the most remote areas, particularly near the ice.
The mountains overlooking the fjord are distinguished by their reddish hues, formed from impressive rock conglomerates, offering a striking contrast to the glaciers and deep waters. Huge icebergs, calved from the ice cap, are sometimes trapped in vast ice fields, creating a scene of spectacular beauty.
In the fall, the tundra takes on shades of red, gold, and copper, further enhancing these magnificent landscapes. The day begins with an exploration of Port Charcot, before continuing on to the spectacular... see+ Fønfjord, often called the “Viking Fjord.” This region is renowned for its imposing glacier that extends all the way to the sea and for its remarkable basalt columnar cliffs, sculpted by millions of years of volcanic activity.
The voyage continues along the rugged Volquart Boons Kyst, where several glaciers flow directly into the fjord. The steep terrain, basalt cliffs, and drifting icebergs create a spectacular landscape, among the most beautiful in eastern Greenland.
The ship moves slowly through these waters, renowned for their rich wildlife. With a little luck, you’ll be able to spot narwhals—iconic symbols of the Arctic—as well as other marine mammals that frequent the fjords of this unspoiled region. A day dedicated to contemplation and discovery of the vast polar wilderness.

Port Charcot Blosseville coast
Head toward the spectacular Blosseville Coast, named in honor of Jules de Blosseville, a French... see+ officer and explorer who went missing in these waters during his 1833 expedition.
This rugged coastline reveals landscapes of rare beauty, where a few hot springs contrast with the immense glaciers and drifting icebergs. During the summer, the impressive cliffs of Cape Brewster are home to large colonies of seabirds, while the surrounding fjords provide an ideal habitat for narwhals and, more occasionally, polar bears. The region also harbors numerous remnants of ancient Inuit civilizations, bearing witness to several centuries of human occupation in this extreme environment.
If weather conditions are favorable, this final evening in eastern Greenland could offer one last unforgettable spectacle: the Northern Lights illuminating the Arctic sky above the fjords and icebergs. A magical conclusion to this polar adventure.
