Sailing itineraries

Luang Prabang
Morning: Meet the cruise ship at the Luang Prabang ferry and familiarize yourself with the... see+ facilities on board as you embark on the early morning upstream journey. After a brief introduction to the boat, we'll head upriver to Ban Baw.
Afternoon: In the afternoon, we visit the traditional village of Ban Baw, inhabited by the Lao Loum, Tai Lue and Shan peoples for over 600 years. The 180 inhabitants live in family harmony, communicating in Lao rather than in their native languages. Over the years, they have developed similar customs, wearing indistinguishable clothes and celebrating events such as weddings in the same way, and we'll visit a local producer of Lao whisky.
Finally, we'll sail to Ban Kook Eak, a traditional Lu village where we'll visit Hmong communities and dock for the night. A cocktail with canapés is ready for you to enjoy the sunset with us. Our cruise leader will introduce you to the next day's program. Dinner on board, bars open until late.

Morning: The boat sails for Pak Beng early in the morning. Breakfast is served on... see+ board.
Afternoon: At noon, we arrive in the village of Pak Beng, where you have the opportunity to visit the village with its strong Hmong identity and its emblematic Sichomchaeng temple, one of the oldest temples in the region built in 1560. Offering spectacular panoramic views over the Mekong and the town, it's well worth a pleasant hike. Another option is to visit the elephant conservation center.
We'll have a packed lunch on land, before returning to the boat and setting course for Ban Pak Ngoi. We'll spend our second night here while the boat is moored for the night. A cocktail with canapés is ready for you to enjoy. Dinner on board, the bars stay open until late.

Morning: In the morning, the boat sets sail for Ban Huay Palam while we enjoy breakfast on board.... see+ We arrive in Ban Huay Palam in the late morning and visit the Khmu village, renowned for its weaving and scarf production. The Khmu are one of the largest ethnic groups in northern Laos.
Afterwards, we return to the boat and continue our cruise to Ban Pak Tha. Pak Tha is located at the mouth of the Nam Tha River into the Mekong. This marks the point at which the Mekong leaves its role as the border between Thailand and Laos, and enters Laos alone.
Afternoon: After a short excursion to the local village of Ban Pak Tha, we continue our cruise to Ban Pak Oi. Lunch is served on board. We arrive in Ban Pak Oi in the evening. A cocktail with canapés is ready for you to enjoy. Dinner on board, bars open until late.

In the morning, we sail to Huay Sai to register the boat with the Laos immigration authorities.... see+ Breakfast and lunch are served on board. Enjoy a day of serene cruising and scenery.

The day ends with a stroll through the Khan El-Khalili bazaar, famous for its crafts and authentic atmosphere. Lunch is included for a pleasant break during this cultural immersion.
