In the morning, Valletta. The splendid Maltese capital is worth a trip in... see+ itself. Perched on a rocky spur, you'll appreciate the geometry of its streets and its remarkable religious buildings. Capital of the Order of Malta, the city was created from scratch by and for the Order of St. John of Jerusalem, and bears witness to the Order's entire history. Visit the Co-Cathedral of Saint John, a masterpiece of Baroque art, and the Palace of the Grand Masters.
In the afternoon, Malta's treasures. You'll discover the island's most beautiful sites. You'll visit the megalithic temple of Hagar Qim, an architectural masterpiece dating from the late Neolithic to the early Bronze Age. Then on to Marsaxlokk, an authentic coastal town with a picturesque waterfront and a delightful fishing port, making it a lively and colorful city.

La Valette Île de Gozo
Excursion included: a day to discover Gozo (lunch included). Discover this oasis of calm for a... see+ change of pace and scenery. You'll be captivated by the charm of Malta's sister island. From the port of Cirkewwa, take the ferry to the island of Gozo. You'll have the chance to admire the island's main sights, including Victoria (Rabat), its capital. Its impressive fortified citadel is the town's landmark. You'll also discover the site of Dwerja, with its splendid coastal formations and the sea pouring over the rocks and bay of Xlendi. In the afternoon, visit the temples of Ggantija, older than the Egyptian pyramids and a World Heritage site.
The ship sets sail for Sicily. The crew will invite you to join them on the sun deck for an aperitif as you leave the port of Valletta, one of the most beautiful in the world.

Île de Gozo Pozzallo
Morning excursion included: Ragusa and Modica. Take a trip back in time with a visit to two... see+ Sicilian World Heritage sites. In Ragusa, you'll discover two cities in one: modern Ragusa, built after the 1693 earthquake, and Hybla Heraia, ancient Ragusa. The symbol of the city's renewal is the dome of San Giorgio, with its friezes, volutes and clusters of columns. Then on to Modica, a charming inland town that rises to the sky. Rebuilt in the aftermath of the 1693 earthquake, today's Modica is a dynamic, lively city of towering Baroque churches, preceded by long flights of stairs, and houses in a thousand shades of ochre, interlocking, crammed into the hills, in both the lower and upper towns. During the visit, stop off at a chocolate factory for a tasting of chocolate whose recipe is directly inspired by that of the Aztecs.

Morning: Catania. Situated on the Ionian Sea and dominated by Mount Etna,... see+ you'll discover this splendid Baroque city with its large squares, wide streets and lava-stone architecture. Its historical and artistic heritage is waiting to be admired.
In the afternoon, Mount Etna. Europe's largest active volcano. You'll climb to an altitude of around 1950 m to discover the Silvestri crater area. From here, you'll have a superb view of the Gulf of Catania.

Catane Syracuse
Morning excursion includes Ortigia. This maritime city, which stretches along a bay, is undoubtedly... see+ one of Sicily's most fascinating cities. It was one of the most powerful cities in the Greek world and the birthplace of the famous mathematician Archimedes. You'll visit the old town of Syracuse, located on the island of Ortigia. You'll admire many important sites, such as the ruins of the Temple of Apollo, the famous Fountain of Arethusa and the famous Piazza del Duomo, one of the most evocative squares of Italian Baroque.
In the afternoon, excursion included: Noto. One of Sicily's must-see Baroque towns, Noto is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Totally destroyed by the earthquake of 1693, the new town of Noto was built 15 km from the old one, in a tufa to which the sun has given this honey color that makes the town one of the most graceful in Sicily. Take a stroll through the historic center and discover its many monuments: the imposing Church of San Francesco (exterior), Palazzo Ducezio (exterior), the Cathedral and Palazzo Nicolaci di Villadorata (exterior).

Syracuse La Valette
In the morning, the boat arrives in the port of Valletta, a Mediterranean landmark with its ochre... see+ hues and atypical architecture. Admire its powerful fortifications and its rich architectural and historical heritage.
Afternoon excursion included: Mdina and Rabat. Drive to Mdina, a veritable open-air museum. The ancient Maltese capital contains many treasures. Here you can admire some of the archipelago's most beautiful palaces. Let yourself be carried away by the maze of narrow streets and admire the tall houses with their rich pediments. Continuing on to Rabat, an important site in Malta's Roman and Arab history. You'll visit the catacombs of St. Paul and St. Agatha, excavated by the Romans and used by Christians to meet secretly and escape persecution.
