Longyearbyen Isfjorden
Arrival in Longyearbyen, capital of Spitsbergen and gateway to the Arctic. After boarding on the... see+ side of the boat, you will have time to discover the unique atmosphere of this small polar town before setting sail. We will then begin our voyage into Isfjord, a vast fjord framed by sharp mountains, offering a first glimpse of Svalbard's iconic landscapes.

Isfjorden Krossfjord Magdalenefjorden
We will adjust our course and speed toward Cross Bay, dominated by the imposing Lilliehöök... see+ Glacier, whose 7-kilometer-long ice front reveals a spectacular landscape. This region is home to large bird colonies and still bears traces of a rich history marked by early polar expeditions. We will then sail along the coast of the "Seven Glaciers" and explore the jagged fjords of Prince Albert I Land before reaching Madeleine Bay. Surrounded by alpine peaks and glaciers reflected in a sea often dotted with icebergs, it offers one of the most iconic panoramas in Spitsbergen.

Magdalenefjorden Sailing to the ice floe
The ice floe, still widely present at this time of year, stretches as far as the eye can see like a... see+ white desert with ever-changing shapes. It is in this silent and majestic polar universe that we will make our way, attentive to the slightest movements and traces. This area is the privileged territory of the polar bear: we will therefore set out in search of it, scanning the ice and snowy ridges where it likes to roam in search of food.

Sailing to the ice floe Monacobreen
The Monaco Glacier, named in honor of Prince Albert I, offers one of the most impressive panoramas... see+ in Spitsbergen: a huge ice front sculpted by time, from which large icebergs of monumental shapes regularly break off. At the end of the day, ice conditions permitting, we will continue on to Moffen Island, located beyond the mythical 80° North. This area is ideal for whale watching, observing walrus colonies and, occasionally, polar bears.

Monacobreen Sailing to the ice floe
In the heart of the ice floe, we will continue our exploration in search of polar bears and... see+ walruses that frequent these frozen expanses. In the fjords, ice fronts rise like blue cathedrals, creating spectacular landscapes. Large bird colonies enliven these regions steeped in history, nestled in a striking backdrop of alpine peaks and majestic glaciers.

We will set sail for Raudfjord, one of Spitsbergen's most iconic fjords, and also the very first to... see+ be discovered in 1596 by Dutch explorer Willem Barents. Its magnificent landscapes, composed of snow-capped mountains, imposing glaciers, and wide fjords still partially covered in ice, offer a total immersion in the raw splendor of the Arctic. Here, the light, colors, and silence create a unique atmosphere, reminiscent of the first great polar explorations.

Raudfjorden Smeerenburgfjorden
We will reach Smeerenburg Fjord, a mecca for polar history. In the 17th century, this region was... see+ one of the major centers of whaling and the starting point for many expeditions to high latitudes. Today, this fjord with its striking landscapes reveals a glacier front that plunges powerfully into the sea, surrounded by mountains sculpted by centuries of frost, with ridges as fine as lace. In these cold, rich waters, it is not uncommon to see walruses resting on the beaches or white whales gliding silently between the icebergs.

The majestic King's Bay, dominated by the iconic peaks of the Three Crowns, offers one of the most... see+ beautiful panoramas in Spitsbergen. Its glaciated fjords, moraines, and glaciers make it a site of great visual power, but also a place steeped in exceptional scientific history. Here, research stations, botanical reserves, and rich colonies of seabirds attract polar foxes and Svalbard reindeer, which are often visible nearby. This iconic fjord, where raw nature and exploratory heritage intermingle, is one of the highlights of sailing in the High Arctic.
