Oslo Longyearbyen
After a flight from Oslo, your adventure begins with two nights in the world's most northerly town:... see+ Longyearbyen.
A colourful frontier settlement with more snowmobiles than people, Longyearbyen is a unique place on the edge of the Arctic wilderness. If you have a bit of time to spare, set off to discover it before enjoying a free, quiet evening.

After breakfast, it's time to discover Longyearbyen, a town that's perfect for exploring on foot.... see+ Take a stroll along the main street, where you might spot a Spitsbergen reindeer roaming around. A wild animal that is very curious and not afraid of humans.
Take to the sea on a nature excursion aboard a hybrid electric catamaran. The engine and propellers are designed to be as silent as possible, which means we won't be disturbing nature and wildlife with our presence.
The evening is yours to enjoy: enjoy your last night ashore before setting off the next day on our solar eclipse voyage.

Longyearbyen At sea - Greenland
Our crossing of the Greenland Sea to reach the world's largest island will be a time for you to... see+ relax and familiarise yourself with life and facilities on board.
Your expedition team will offer lectures on the adventure ahead, explaining the protocols for visiting wildlife habitats and how we respectfully interact with indigenous Arctic communities. The lectures will shed light on the incredible landscapes of the East Greenland National Park and the sumptuous fjords of Scoresby Sund that you will soon be exploring. There will also be lectures on astronomy and the next solar eclipse in Greenland, which will occur a week after the start of our adventure.

If you're in the mood to work up a sweat, head to the fitness room for a workout with a view. We'll be spending the next 10 days exploring the unspoilt and isolated east coast. This long ribbon... see+ of coastline running 2,800 km from north to south is cold, isolated and remote, even by Greenlandic standards.

After exploring the beauty of wild Greenland, we head for Iceland. You can take advantage of these... see+ days at sea to share your experiences with new friends, study nature at the science centre, attend a lecture or two or simply relax on deck. Watch the seabirds that follow our ship and keep an eye out for whales.
As you reminisce about your cruise, from the total solar eclipse you witnessed to the Arctic landscapes you soaked up, take time to relax at sea and enjoy the ship's food and facilities.

Back in the charming city of Reykjavík, where our expedition cruise ends, we bid farewell to the... see+ ship. With its exciting museums, elegant galleries, restaurants and geothermal pools, Iceland's capital has so much to offer.
And if you want to discover more of Iceland, you can sign up for our optional post-programme before heading home. Or simply extend your stay and enjoy Reykjavík and its surrounding geothermal attractions a little longer. It's the perfect place to end this epic journey!
