The capital of Portugal since its conquest from the Moors in 1147, Lisbon is a legendary city with... see+ over 20 centuries of history. Spreading out along the right bank of the Tagus, its downtown, the Baixa, is located in the 18th-century area around Rossio. The Alfama, one of the oldest quarters in Lisboa, still retains much of its original layout since it largely survived the earthquake of 1755.

Lisbon Portimão
Portimão is the largest city in the western Algarve and was traditionally a center for fishing and... see+ sardine processing. It is an excellent starting point for exploring the entire western Algarve. Lagos and Silves are the two most popular destinations. Lagos was the center of Portugal's 14th-century exploration era, and Silves was the former capital of the Algarve region.

The approach to Funchal harbour is well documented as one of the two most spectacular in the world, Rio de Janeiro being the other one. Zona Velha, an old fishersâ neighbourhood in East Funchal has recently been transformed into a hip quarter packed with bars, galleries, shops and restaurants and is the place to head at nightfall.

Even if the boat is equipped with sails, it will mainly be powered when the conditions are too pitch for the sails to be used
When boarding, each passenger must have their travel documents, passport (valid for at least 6 months after the cruise return date), and visa (if required)
Luggage must be properly closed and labeled. The label must show the passenger's name, the boat's name, the cabin number and the cruise date
We recommend that you keep your travel documents (cruise documents, passport, visa), as well as your medications and valuables, in your carry-on luggage
