Ibiza Palma de Majorque
Palma de Mallorca, the island's capital, is a lively and fascinating city, famous for its... see+ 13th-century Gothic cathedral. This historic monument, the pride of Mallorca, boasts magnificent stained-glass windows and a wealth of artistic treasures. The visit of the capital continues with the Bellver Castle, an ancient fortress of the Kings of Mallorca located on a hill overlooking the city and the port. Half-day excursion (approx. 3h30).
Valldemossa and Soller:
The route begins with the village of Valldemossa nestling in the mountains. Guided tour of the former Carthusian monastery, whose cells and cloister hold the memory of the romantic idyll between pianist Frédéric Chopin and writer Georges Sand, during the winter of 1838-1839. It was in this setting that Chopin composed his most beautiful melodies.

Alghero & Palmavera
Discover Alghero, a small Catalan town whose bastions have withstood every... see+ assault. A Majorcan dialect is spoken here and Iberian traditions have been preserved. Continue on to the Palmavera nuraghe. This nuragic complex of limestone origin has been developed and restored; the original site was built between the 13th and 6th centuries BC. Half-day excursion (approx. 3h30).

Sardinian day: Alghero / Palmavera / Saccargia:
From Alghero, you will travel to the Sassari region. To the south of Sassari is one of Sardinia's best-known sanctuaries: the church of Santissima Trinita di Saccargia. Visit this Romanesque-Pisan style church, emerging at the bottom of a valley between limestone and basalt banks. Continue to the Capo Caccia viewpoint before reaching the Palmavera nuraghe. This nuragic complex of limestone origin has been developed and restored; the original site was built between the 13th and 6th centuries BC. Then a walking tour of Alghero, a small Catalan town whose bastions have withstood every assault. Day trip with lunch (approx. 8.00 am).

Sartène and Sainte Lucie de Tallano
Depart inland for Sartène, ‘the most Corsican of Corsican towns’ according to Mérimée. The town is built on a rocky spur overlooking the Rizzanese valley. It imposes its austere architecture on the landscape, with its tall fortified grey granite houses clinging to the rock and its old bridge leading into the town. Take a stroll through the medieval quarter, with its alleyways and vaulted passageways... Half-day excursion (approx. 3h30).

As you approach Tarquinia, huge walls and towers rise up from the olive groves. Rome is the scene of the powerful civilisation created by the Romans. This did not withstand the barbarian invasions, but the capital of the Empire remained the capital of Christianity and, after an eclipse in the Middle Ages, the greatest artists and architects (Michelangelo, Raphael, Caravaggio, Tintoretto, Veronese, Bernini...) came to work here, particularly during the Renaissance and Baroque periods. Sumptuous monuments in and around Rome bear witness to this prestigious past. Day trip with lunch (approx. 8.00 am).

Civitavecchia Portoferraio
Tour of the island and San Martino
This tour will take you to charming little fishing ports such... see+ as Lacona and Porto Azzuro, dominated by its 17th-century Spanish fort. During the walk, you'll admire the island's sandy beaches and Mediterranean vegetation, with its mix of oleanders, maquis, olive trees and magnolias. The island is also renowned for its stone and mineral workshops, and the memory of Napoleon is everywhere. Half-day excursion (approx. 4h00).
Full day Elba Island
Departure from Portoferraio, the island's capital, for the Villa Napoleon in San Martino: this former country house, transformed in neoclassical style in 1814, was the Emperor's summer residence and contains many souvenirs. Continue on to Marciana Marina, a charming fishing village, and Marina de Campo, a seaside resort on the island's southern coast. Day trip with lunch (approx. 7.00 am).
