Sailing itineraries

Olympos Demre Buzaglik Gokkaya
Our complimentary pick-up service begins around 1:00 PM from Olympos, heading to the port of Demre... see+ (Andriake), where your traditional Turkish gulet awaits. Boarding begins at 2:30 PM, and once everyone is settled, we weigh anchor at 3:00 PM sharp, gliding over calm, turquoise waters.
(Exact pick-up times are confirmed by email the day before departure.) Our first stop is Turtle Beach, a natural nesting area where Caretta Caretta sea turtles can often be seen swimming gracefully alongside the Gulet. Families can take their first swim in the Mediterranean, or simply relax on deck as the coastline unfolds in every direction. After afternoon tea, we continue on to Buzaglik Bay or Camlik Bay—two tranquil coves renowned for their crystal-clear waters and soft afternoon light. It's the perfect place for paddleboarding, reading, or simply enjoying the peaceful rhythm of life at sea. As the sun begins to set, we sail past the Pirates' Cave, pausing for photos as golden light floods the cliffs, before dropping anchor for the night in the tranquil waters of Gokkaya Bay. Dinner is served on deck under a canopy of stars—soft music, warm conversation, and the soothing sound of the sea mark the beginning of your family's Mediterranean adventure. Ambience: Smooth sailing, coastal beauty, and welcome relaxation on the side of the boat of the Gulet.
Family Tip: Have your camera ready at Turtle Beach—sea turtles often swim close-hauled for incredible photos.

Simena Tersane Island Gokkaya Kas Limanagzi
Wake up in Hamidiye Bay as the sunlight gently caresses the cliffs — the sea is calm, breakfast... see+ is served on deck, and perhaps a quiet morning swim to start the day. After breakfast, a short dinghy ride takes you to the charming hilltop village of Simena (Kaleköy). The walk to Simena Castle is short but rewarding — panoramic views of the Kekova archipelago stretch out in every direction. Along the way, friendly locals sell homemade ice cream and crafts, adding a touch of village charm that families love.

Back on the side of the boat, the Gulet glides over the Sunken City of Kekova, where ancient Lycian ruins lie just below the crystal-clear turquoise surface — walls, staircases, and mosaics visible in the water. It's a gentle sail through history, fascinating for adults and children alike.

Next, we stop at Tersane Bay, once an ancient shipyard and now a peaceful turquoise haven — perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or simply floating in the calm water. Depending on conditions, your captain may drop anchor at Aperlai, Inonu, or Ufakdere Bay for a lunch detour surrounded by nature.

In the afternoon, we arrive in Kas, one of Turkey's most picturesque small towns. Wander its cobblestone streets, browse the seaside shops, or enjoy a cold drink overlooking the marina. For those seeking a light adventure, optional scuba diving is available—the clear, calm waters make Kas a favorite spot for beginner divers. As evening falls, we drop anchor nearby in Limanagzi Bay or Hidayet Bay, framed by olive trees and golden light. Enjoy a sunset swim before dinner on deck, then relax under the stars, lulled by the gentle rocking of the Gulet. Family Tip: Try the homemade ice cream in Simena — local families have perfected it over generations.
Don't miss: The view from Simena Castle — it's one of the most photographed points on the Turkish coast. Pro tip: Wake up early to watch the water glow a magical blue at sunrise in Limanagzi Bay.

Limanagzi Butterfly Valley Blue Lagoon St Nicholas
Your last full day at sea—slow, sunny, and unforgettable. Start the morning with coffee on deck... see+ as the Gulet glides westward along the Lycian coast, passing Backstay Beach, one of Turkey's longest stretches of pristine golden sand. The sea is calm, the air is mild, and the view is endless.

We drop anchor at Butterfly Valley for breakfast — a hidden paradise framed by high cliffs and a small waterfall at the bottom of the canyon. Swim in the turquoise bay, take a short walk along the beach, or simply relax on deck as sunlight floods the valley. This is one of the most peaceful moments of the trip, and a favorite with families. Next, we sail to the famous Blue Lagoon (Ölüdeniz), one of the most photographed bays on the Turkish Riviera. Swim in crystal clear, calm water, try paddleboarding, or simply float with the mountain views. For adventurous parents or teenagers, optional paragliding from Mount Babadag (2,000 m) offers incredible aerial views of the entire coastline—a unique experience.

After lunch at Soguksu Bay or Camel Beach, the pace slows down and the Gulet heads to St. Nicholas Island, our last anchorage close-hauled to ancient Byzantine ruins. Take the dinghy ashore and hike a short distance to the top of the island to witness one of Turkey's most beautiful sunsets — the sky turning gold, pink, and soft shades of purple over the sea.

As evening settles in, dinner is served on deck under the stars. Soft music, good conversation, and the sound of the waves complete your last night—a perfect end to your family's sea adventure.

Optional: Paragliding over Ölüdeniz or water sports close-hauled to Saint Nicholas Island Don't miss: The sunset from Saint Nicholas Church — truly one of the most breathtaking in Turkey Pro tip: Bring comfortable shoes for the short walk on the island — the view from the top is worth every pitch.

Your last morning in the Mediterranean—savour every moment. Wake up to the gentle sound of the... see+ sea and enjoy breakfast on deck as the Gulet glides towards Tarzan Bay, a favorite spot among locals, surrounded by pine-covered cliffs and crystal-clear water. Enjoy an invigorating morning swim, swing on the rope to dive into the sea, or simply savor your coffee as the day begins slowly.

After a relaxed swim and a moment to enjoy the morning sun, we continue to Samanlik Bay for lunch and your last swim in the Mediterranean. The turquoise water, light breeze, and tranquil pace of the coast capture everything that makes a Sailnstay family cruise so special—unhurried, joyful, and peaceful all at once.

In the mid-afternoon, we return to Fethiye Harbor around 4:00 PM, where it's time to say goodbye to your crew and fellow travelers. Expect warm smiles, hugs, and a shared promise to meet again somewhere along Turkey's blue coast.
