Even if the show is outside, the Mull Museum's collection of local history and the An Tobar art gallery's exhibitions are no less interesting.

On Scotland's west coast, facing the Isle of Mull, Oban is the capital... see+ of the county of Argyll, a rural region of the Highlands considered to be the cradle of Scotland. The Gaels settled here from Ireland, bringing with them their language and culture. From the “little bay”, as it's called in Gaelic, you'll reach Kilmartin-Glen, the Scottish site renowned for housing the largest number of Neolithic and Bronze Age remains. Among the 350 ancient monuments on this spectacular site, you'll discover standing stones, alignments of cairns and stone circles. Glen-Coe Valley then reveals dramatic landscapes shaped by volcanic activity. One of Scotland's wildest valleys, it was the setting for the Outlander series.
