Motor yacht charter The Caribbean

Last updated on 3 November 2025

Why rent a motorboat in The Caribbean?

Do you enjoy day trips or 2-3 day cruises? A motor yacht charter is the solution for you! You can enjoy the sumptuous landscapes that the Caribbean has to offer without having to operate a catamaran or a sailboat. What's more, motorboats are very practical for approaching small, unspoiled coves where you can discover breathtaking seabeds. Whether you are in Guadeloupe or Martinique, Filovent offers a wide range of boats for excursions. The Caribbean is home to flora and fauna everywhere, both in the sea and on land. You can spot marine animals and discover dozens of bird species, all while enjoying the magnificent beaches.

The best places to sail in The Caribbean

From RIBs to cruising houseboats and cabin cruiser boats, our wide range of motorboats is sure to satisfy your every desire. If you prefer day trips, we recommend you board a RIB, a bowrider or a day cruiser boat. You can thus take advantage of this excursion to tour the island or to veer into water sports and scuba diving. On the other hand, if you prefer to leave for 2-3 days and therefore sleep on the boat, a cabin cruiser boat or a cruising houseboat will be much better suited to your needs. This will allow you to leave for a longer period of time without worrying about where to sleep. Whether you're with family, friends or your partner, going out on a boat gives you the opportunity to do what you want. Don't hesitate to drop anchor at unique and exotic points of view to have a bite to eat!

When to go to the Caribbean?

The best season to rent a motorboat in the Caribbean is between December and April, during the dry season. On the other hand, it is strongly advised not to go between June and November due to bad weather and cyclones. So, if you go during the dry season, you can enjoy sailing with calm seas and favorable winds. The sky is blue and the temperatures are warm. Far from the European cold, going to the Caribbean for the winter holidays will be a complete change of scenery.
