A major city on the Flemish coast, Ostend is a port that cannot be ignored, famous both for its magnificent monuments and its immense sandy beach.
If you want to explore Belgium's maritime landscapes, a yacht charter from Ostend is a great way to discover the charms of the "flat country" in a different way. Our base is located in the Mercator dock, in the city and very easy to access. It is a port ideally placed to set off, depending on the time you have available, to discover France, Holland or England. In 2 or 3 days, you can go to Dunkirk or cross the English Channel, a unique experience. In 5-6 days, you can sail up the Thames to London.
As well as all the sightseeing in Ostend, don't miss a visit to the Saints Peter and Paul Church, which houses the magnificent mausoleum of Queen Louise-Marie, as well as the Royal Galleries of Ostend.
In the port, the Mercator is a magnificent historic three-master built in the early 1930s as a training ship. You can visit it and relive the crazy adventures of its apprentice officers through numerous anecdotes.
During the summer season, the beach of Ostend comes alive and allows you to savor every day until the end of the night.
