The history of the Bali 4.6
The Bali 4.6 is a catamaran introduced by the French shipyard Bali Catamarans in 2019.
Bali Catamarans, founded in 2014, is a relatively new brand, but it has quickly gained popularity thanks to its innovative approach to catamaran design. The Bali 4.6 was created by naval architects Olivier Poncin and Xavier Fay, who rethought traditional catamaran concepts to offer a revolutionary sailing experience.
The technical aspects of the Bali 4.6
The Bali 4.6 is distinguished by its innovative opening system, called "Cockloon". It is a unique concept that merges the interior and exterior space of the boat by completely opening the saloon to the cockpit. This creates a large, open and airy living area, offering a panoramic view of the sea and excellent ventilation. This feature also allows for fluid communication between the cockpit and the saloon, facilitating social interaction on board.
In terms of performance, the Bali 4.6 has a lightweight design with thin hulls, giving it excellent sailing speed.
