Sailboat Grand Soleil 43 charter
The Grand Soleil 43 is a charter boat that will delight regatta sailors and pleasure boaters alike. Launched in 2005 by the Canteire del Pardo shipyard, this boat with one hull and a length overall of 13.40 meters combines comfort and performance to the delight of sailing enthusiasts. Perfectly suited to short-term sailing, this sailboat is formidable in regattas and offers maximum cruising comfort thanks to its cleverly disguised interior volume.
This sailboat with a bulbous bow has a low-overlap genoa that facilitates maneuvers for the person boarding during tacking. A mast reaching a height of 15 meters above the deck allows the Grand Soleil 43 to benefit froma particularly elongated rigging. At the same time, its generous sail plan guarantees easy navigation, even with a small crew, and a great feeling at sea. The epoxy hull of the Grand Soleil 43 includes a carbon fiber structure that makes the boat lighter and faster, whatever the weather conditions. Its sleek deckhouse, its hull, designed by Botin and Carkeek, and its tapered silhouette will also give you a pleasant feeling in the open sea.
On deck, the Grand Soleil 43 has a functional deck layout. The halyards are led back to the open transom cockpit. The cockpit is particularly wide and allows for smooth movement. Moving around the outside of the yacht is made easy by the unobstructed gangways and the flat deckhouse top with non-slip surface. In the cockpit, you will find a very functional folding cockpit table.
The interior of the Grand Soleil 43 also deserves special attention. Designed by Patrick Roseo, the interior design is rather simple and decorated in cherry-stained mahogany, immersing you in a warm and friendly environment. In the starboard living area, there is a very long U-shaped bench seat that converts into a berth at anchor. A bench seat located between the galley and the living area table provides additional seating and allows the living area to accommodate up to 6 passengers.
Occupying the length, on the port side, the kitchen of the Grand Soleil 43 is practical, fully equipped and benefits from plenty of storage space. It offers a large worktop and a double sink. The bench seat located between the galley and the living area table can be used as a support for the cook at any time and will not be in the way when moving around the forward cabin. On the starboard side, directly at the foot of the companionway, is the chart table of the Grand Soleil 43. Well-equipped and comfortable, the chart table has a complete electric panel.
Comfort is also guaranteed in the spacious cabins of the Grand Soleil 43. The owner's cabin is particularly spacious and is located at the front, with two mini-benches for added comfort. The latter offers a large double bed, a large drawer and two storage chests. The rear cabins, on the other hand, offer generous headroom and ventilation through a porthole on the cockpit side and a small deck hatch.
