AD boats/salona Yachts
Founded in 2002 in Solin, in the Split-Dalmatia County of Croatia, AD Boats is a high-performance shipyard with a network of dealers in more than 20 countries. Known for its Salona line of sailboats, this brand, which regularly works with the Slovenian studio J & J Design, is particularly fond of designing cruisers that are fast, modern and comfortable. Many of his models offer impeccable habitability both under way and at anchor, while also being capable of impressive marine performance. This is particularly the case of the Salona 34 model, which has a T-shaped cockpit and a vinyl ester resin infused hull. The versatility of this 9.99-meter-long boat makes this unit very popular with cruisers. There are even three versions: standard, racing and pure racing.Other series of the brand have also been very successful. The Salona 37, for example, was voted "European Yacht of the Year 2006/2007". The first semi-customizable sailboat from the Croatian shipyard, the Salona 60, won the title of " Adriatic Boat of the Year» at the 20th International Boat Show "Internautica 2015" ceremony in Portoro?, SloveniaBuilding high-performance cruising boats has been the main mission of AD Boats since 2002. Performance that, combined with comfort and safety, guarantees you a relaxed and enjoyable life at the side of the boat. It is also thanks to its three key elements, as well as the use of advanced construction technology and a skilled workforce, that Salona Yachts has alsoalso gained considerable experience in the design of pleasure boats. In keeping with the times, AD Boats is perfecting the conception, design and functionality of its boats for a much more demanding clientele. Aiming for excellence in quality, the shipyard produces boats that have won several regattas and have not gone unnoticed, such as the Salona 34. On display at the Cannes Boat Show in 2008, the Salona 34 is the smallest vessel in the range and was nominated for the European Boat of the Year Award in the Cruiser Racer category in 2009. AD Boats are also characterized by their maneuverability and their resistance to difficult weather conditions. The vacuum infusion of the deck and hull of each vessel and the use of modern construction materials (fiberglass, advanced resin, multiaxial glass…) make them light and resistant. The lightness and endurance of AD Boats are reinforced by the stainless steel structure supporting the shrouds, keel and mast. Comfort is ensured by wide gangways and a complete interior layout, allowing you to sail in complete peace of mind, alone or with your family. This is the case of the Salona 33, which has a large navigation table, a spacious mast top and a fully equipped and functional kitchen. It should be noted that the Salona 33 is one of the smallest two-wheeled cruisers.
