Rent a Pogo sailboat - Organizations

Structures is a French manufacturer specializing in the production of pleasure and racing yachts. Founded in 1987 in Quimper, this shipyard is now based in Sainte-Marine, in the Finistère department. Its team, made up of boat and regatta enthusiasts, puts its racing experience, know-how and great capacity for innovation at the service of sailing enthusiasts to offer them high quality cruisers. The Pogo range, developed since 1995, has seen several of its models become benchmarks for short-crewed cruising in the open sea. Units such as the Pogo 8.50 and the Pogo 10.50 were voted "Sailboat of the Year" in 2000 and 2009 respectivelyWith the help of his wife and two children, Christian Bouroullec has been supervising the production of racing and cruising yachts for almost 30 years. Thirty years of experience that have enabled the shipyard to forge a fine reputation in the world of sailing. Capable of crossing the Atlantic Ocean, Pogo sailboats have met with dazzling success, prompting the shipyard to design new ranges of racing boats, such as the Pogo 8.50, which is shaking up the standards of cruising sailboats. Perfect for coastal racing and open sea sailing, the Pogo 8.50 was launched in 2000 and was voted sailboat of the year in 2001. The latter won the Transquadra Solo with flying colors and was the second production sailboat from the shipyard. Its small size and hull lines quickly won over lovers of ocean racing. The Pogo 40 also has a bright future ahead of it. 40 of these were built between 2005 and 2009, and this one won the Route du Rhum in 2006.In 2007, the shipyard worked on the retractable keel and launched its very first vessel with this new innovation, the Pogo 10.50. Another success that won the title of Sailboat of the Year in 2009. Other models designed for racing in the open sea, including the Pogo 40S2, and for cruising, such as the Pogo 12.50, will quickly make a name for themselves in 2010. 14 European magazines will elect the Pogo 12.50 "European yacht of the year" two years later in the Fast Cruiser category. 2012 will also see the birth of the Pogo 50, designed for a small crew wishing to sail far and fast. Speed and power are the watchwords of Structures' vessels, as exemplified by the Pogo3, which won all the Mini class races in 2016.
